A Date Around Alhambra

Over the weekend Aaron took me out for an early birthday celebration. We visited the Thrift Store (which I will be sharing some great findings in a couple of days), Bun-N BurgerLove to GoOo-Kook Tofu & BBQ and then watched Muppets! Since Aaron's been in school it's always a treat when we go out even if it's just going out for dinner or getting a boba drink nearby.

This was an unplanned pre-dinner. After 4pm on Wednesdays and Saturdays, they have BOGO hamburgers :O So we left the diner (I call it a diner because that's exactly how the inside looks retro) paying only $9. I know...what a steal. We got the California burger and the patty melt. The patty melt on rye was delicious.

Aaron was going to take me to another coffee shop but that was closed so we went to Love to Go, which I always wanted to try anyway. Their latte art was very asian inspired. You have the option to get simple art, 2d art, message art or 3d art. We blindly said 3d art not knowing that it would cost $1 more. But that's okay because we got to see what the craze was all about. And after 3 sips, the cat was gone. And if you check-in on Yelp, they give you free marshmallow minions. It was nice of them to give us one each.

I love Korean tofu. Ever since we got married I've been craving this like every week. And this was our 2nd time eating it this week.

The only movies we watch in theaters are Disney movies so it's exciting to know that our movies are planned. It's weird but it works for us. That means the next movies we see will be Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Maleficent. And thanks to my brother and his wife for these AMC tickets they got us for Christmas! We also got free popcorn and drink for just attending Disney's Vacation Club info session last year.
